We love smoothies! They offer a practical and efficient way of consuming multiple servings of fruits, vegetables, and other key nutrients in one go. Plus they are quick and easy to prepare ahead of time so when the hunger kicks in and you need a quick boost - all you need to do is blend and enjoy!
Superfood Spinach Smoothie
This delicious Superfood Spinach Smoothie is a powerhouse of nutrition. Spinach is full of calcium and iron, bananas contain a healthy dose of potassium and there are omega-3 fatty acids and fibre found in the chia seeds.
Having this in the morning (or afternoon!) really is a delicious way to set you up for the day as well as incorporate more superfoods into your diet. And with just five ingredients it’s a delicious and convenient way to nourish your body whilst you pour your time and energy into your little one!
You will need;
* 2 cups of spinach
* 1 banana
* 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
* 350ml of almond milk or oat milk
* A handful of ice
To make, simply blend until smooth.
Top tip; Freeze your bananas ahead of time this will make your smoothie super thick and creamy!
